About

I graduated in 2003 as a Wastewater Engineer Msc. (fac. Industrial Biotechnology). I started my work experience in the same year at VITUKI Consult, Inc, where I mostly managed Hydrocarbon pollution surveys. A year later I started to work for Zenon (later purchased by GE, currently owned by SUEZ) as a Process Engineer where I designed UF Membrane MBR bioreactors. Then I switched to Huntraco for 2 years for an Area Manager role, where I managed, and supervised the design to turnkey processes of conventional continuous flow activated sludge WWTP's for small settlements below 2000 inhabitants. I joined Organica Biotech, Ltd. in 2006, which is a TOP10 Environmental Biotechnology manufacturer worldwide. We established Malatech Water, Ltd. also back in 2006 to provide Organica Biotech solutions and services for European customers. In the past nearly 2 decades I have been responsible for the operation of the Wastewater Service Department of Organica Biotech, and also I managed the European material supplies. I have managed and run the optimization process of hundreds of municipal and industrial biological wastewater treatment plants worldwide till now. My latest development at Organica is the one I am the most proud of in my entire career: I developed a method for our WWTP operator clients which we call "Remote Optimization" applicable at any biological wastewater treatment plants, does not matter the technology, or how far it is from us. We are able to sort out any optimization processes with the biology at low cost without ever visiting the plant in its location. And our success ratio is 100% so far.
