Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA)

With a keen understanding of current of legislative, regulatory, trade, and economic issues, engage prospective water and wastewater equipment manufacturers and their sales representatives to demonstrate the value proposition of Association membership. Structure and provide underlying research supporting the Association’s Executive, Marketing & Member Services, and Legislative & Regulatory Committees to formulate and advance policy positions and organizational objectives.

Laisse with other allied Associations by analyzing co-signatory memoranda, participating in related webinars and conference calls, and structuring and implementing advocacy campaigns. Specific tasks include drafting press releases and writing Member Newsletter articles. Conduct detailed analysis of Federal Agency policy, Executive Orders, and proposed regulations and help craft official Association response.

Responsible for overall member outreach and engagement, including providing key support for marketing and social media efforts, member survey design and assessment, and varied member requests. Prepare and present findings from market surveys to membership, including delivering presentations at Annual Conference meetings.

Proudly represent WWEMA and its member companies at trade shows, government meetings, Webinars, and multi-association events. Manage and coordinate logistics for trade shows, Annual meetings, Board and Committee meetings, including directing hotel event and banquet staff and meeting planner vendors.

Provided project management and research support in the development of OnBoarding videos titled How Does a Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Built & Who are the Key Players and From Home to River-How a Wastewater Treatment Plant Works. Also, provide ongoing efforts to identify training materials for placement in member-only section of Association website for key topics (e.g., treatment, procurement, etc.).
