Ghaziabad to Supply Treated Sewage Water to Factories

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has found a new way to prevent illegal water extraction.

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) is working on a plan to supply treated sewage water to industries so they do not resort to extracting water from below the ground illegally.
A private company has prepared a detailed project report (DPR) for setting up a tertiary sewage water treatment plant at the GMC’s two plants in Dundehera and Indirapuram. The DPR has been placed before a GMC board for approval.
