In GoAigua we have a large team with experience in the water sector and its digital transformation. Our objective is to apply innovative solutions for the management of the integral water cycle. Sewerage management is a traditionally neglected area when it comes to the introduction of new technologies. The investment in assets worldwide is generally immense and consequently, their optimization and efficient operation is essential. However, because of its age, sewerage infrastructure has suffered significant deterioration, and this makes efficient management even more important.
GoAigua, as a pioneer company in technological transformation of the water sector, offers innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies. It is within this framework that the open innovation hub plays a key role. The hub fosters continuous investments in deep tech projects with the aim of bringing new digital business models to light. As a part of its global strategy to support start-ups, the company has invested 550,000€ in Inloc Robotics, a company specialized in the field of robotics, with emphasis on environments without GPS coverage, artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques. This new investment will allow GoAigua’s platform to integrate into its technological solutions an automatic system for detecting damage in the sewage network, incorporating an automated system that analyzes videos of sewage inspections for deficiencies or damage.
In GoAigua we foster an advanced management in sewerage. Inloc’s predictive system has been developed jointly to perform an intelligent management of the cleanliness of the network. This new solution reduces the time required for analysis, which until now was done manually and depended on human visual interpretation, therefore boosting accuracy. The system streamlines the process by allowing more explorations to be conducted each year in order to monitor the level of sedimentation and to anticipate possible problems in the network caused by congestion that may ultimately lead to flooding and concentrations of harmful substances.
GoAigua’s platform integrates a new solution based on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through computer vision. A fast-growing technology that is positioned as one of the most relevant innovations in the future of water services. Thanks to this acquisition, a new piece of software has been developed, which is capable of controlling the state of the sewerage system and automates analysis. With this investment GoAigua has added a new technology to its portfolio of services and solutions.
