How Artificial Intelligence Can Help Predict Toxic Algal Blooms
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
In her latest article for Forbes, Liz Allen introduced us to the brand new research on algal blooms that is currently being in progress in the Nelson Artificial Intelligence Institute.
The research team at the Institute has developed AI-based technology they claim can detect tiny algal cells in the ocean before they multiply to create toxic algal blooms by distinguishing healthy algal cells from toxic cells, and labels the toxic ones accordingly.
