Iran's Water Crisis
Published on by Yoshimi Yoshida, Environmental Consultant
Iranian Water Crisis has been chronic, escalated by an inadequate water management and policy placed by Iranian water governing body.
Droughts, climate fluctuations, and inefficient water exploitation and farming practice by man, all combined, Iran basically dried out its water.
Declining groundwater resources, desperate farmers had no choice but to leave the land behind. And this is something that did not begin yesterday but for years, Iran struggled to supply adequate any water resources to its people.
