More men, machines to monitor Ganga water
New Delhi: The Union government is set to double the number of water quality monitoring stations on river Ganga and its tributaries, and install one in the temple town of Kedar Nath. 

Senior officials told ET that the Centre is also overhauling the mechanism by which it receives data from the stations by appointing consultants to validate it.
