The SOUTH FLORIDA AQUATIC PLANT MANAGEMENT SOCIETY (SFAPMS), UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA INSTITUTE OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES CENTER FOR AQUATIC & INVASIVE PLANTS (UF/IFAS CAIP), and SOUTH BROWARD DRAINAGE DISTRICT (SBDD) held a virtual presentation: “A workshop on Lake Maintenance and Best Management Practices for Lakefront Properties and Communities.” It was virtually held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 9 am to 11 am. This presentation helps HOAs, Property Management Companies, and Individual Property Owners understand the important role that lakes and water bodies serve in their communities and how to keep these water bodies looking as good as possible.
The presentation also focuses on Best Management Practices (BMPs) for lakefront homes and provides recommendations for effective lake management and lake maintenance plans.
