E-learning course "Water Footprint—Concept and Application"
The e-learning course "Water Footprint—Concept and Application" is the most effective online course for understanding the fundamentals of Water Footprint Assessment and how it can be used by consumers, businesses, policy makers and governments. This three week course developed with the support from Word Bank Institute and University of Twente will be offered from 13 - 31 January 2014. This e-learning course aims to provide participants with an introduction to the concept and application, with five modules:
(1) Water Footprint Concept and Application
(2) Global Water Management
(3) Government Policy
(4) Corporate Strategy
(5) Calculating the Water Footprint
The course involves both self-paced learning and online discussion facilitated by experts. Facilitation occurs in the third week of the course. All participants are required to complete an assignment and pass a test to receive the certificate. To complete the course, participants are expected to spend around 15 hours. Deadline for application: December 31, 2013
