Clay(NOM(Humic(Fulvic)))

Hi everyone, after some important suggestions over the past week or two, and some intense literature reviews to include the membranes' autopsy results, I have decided to propose that the foulant causing the irreversible membrane fouling from the 1st pilot study is a natural organic matter(>92%). Consequently, the source water is from a clay environment, and further narrowing things down it might be humic and/or fulvic acids (reference Mr. peeters). However, I am looking for recommendations including literatures on coagulants/flocculants that will help prevent and mitigate this fouling upstream the UF. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
