Solar Desalination
Published on by Bill Westerwelle
Solar power turns the sun’s energy into electricity. Desalination removes unwanted minerals from saltwater so it can be used for drinking or agriculture. These two technologies have typically been employed separately in the effort to live more sustainably and limit dependence on finite resources. I think the new Solar water Desalination is the sustainable, economical and environmnet friendly solution to our water vows.
Any detail insights on this technology?

Solar Desalination is the answer to the current and future water challenges that we face, be it a developed or a developing nation. As places with limited water resources (Middle East for example) already do this, a widespread adoption is soon to follow. I particularly see a trend in developing nations such as India where advancement in domestic and industrial sectors meant exploitation of natural resources. And one resource which is getting scare be it underground or surface level is WATER. While desalination is know to all, technologies and methods which make this process efficient are the key. One such patented method is available right here in India for use. Collaboration is key to drive this adoption before it becomes a reactive affair! Thanks for your attention.
