Adam Porowski, Researcher hydrogeologist at Institute of Geological Sciences Polish Academy of Sciences
About
I am researcher hydrogeologist at the Institute of Geological Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences (IGS PAS) based in Warsaw, Poland. I have more than 18 years experience in scientific and applied research in various branches of hydrogeology. My principal research interests concern the application of the state-of-the-art geochemical and isotopic methods in hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry to solve or explore various aspects of the origin, occurrence and utilization of various water types - first of all highly mineralized, thermal, oil-associated, mine drainage, metamorphic. I am developing contacts with industry sector in the area of commercialization of scientific research, implementation of new sampling, monitoring and exploration methods, improvement of analytical techniques - especially in the area of isotopic research (O and H of water).
