Acwa Robotics secures successful tests of Pathfinder its autonomous robotic solution for condition assessment of water supply networks.
Acwa has sent its patented autonomous robotic solution, Pathfinder, in harsh water supply conditions, pushing water pressure up to 250 PSI and speed flow to 1.5m/s thanks to the unique condition testing laboratory of Société du Canal de Provence in the south of France. Pathfinder cleared through the test network, collecting highly precise geolocalisation data of the network and high definition imaging while running the device autonomously for an almost entire day. Acwa now aims at running long distances in a real environment and integrating recently tested residual thickness measurement sensors in the coming months.
