Every year, 10 billion cubic meter of concrete is produced. Water is an essential component of concrete manufacturing and processes like curing. On an average, each cubic meter of concrete requires 400 to 900 liters of water!!! Hence concrete has a huge water footprint.
I am working on R&D project to develop innovative solution to eliminate or drastically reduce the water footprint of the concrete industry.
I am looking for research funding for this project. I was curious if this is the right forum to look for!
