Tecta automated microbial detection method gets SAC-SINGLAS accreditation in PUB Singapore's central laboratory - Tecta-PDS is pleased to announce that its Tecta-B16 automated, rapid microbial detection system has recently received full SAC-SINGLAS accreditation in Singapore for E.coli and Total Coliforms rapid detection for various water samples within PUB’s central water quality laboratory. This local Singapore accreditation, along with Tecta's existing US EPA approval, enables PUB to use the Tecta method for quick microbiological water quality testing in their main laboratory, located in the WaterHub. PUB (Public Utilities Board) is Singapore's national water agency and is responsible for the collection, production, distribution, and reclamation of water in Singapore.
