Drought is one of the quietest natural disasters against floods and the damage caused by drought is far greater than other natural disasters (such as floods, hurricanes, volcanoes, and even earthquakes). In the picture below, two relatively saline rivers can be seen in parallel with a length of 60 km and a total of 120 km and an area of 750 square kilometers with a catchment area of 57,000 hectares.
