 UNESCO DOCUMENTARY PRODUCED FOR NETFLIX TO COVER CAPE TOWN WATER CHALLENGES On Friday 22 March, UNESCO unveiled the trailer for their documentary entitled  WaterWise, how not to drain a Country,   produced for  Netflix . The piece – to be broadcast to Netflix’s over 148 million subscribers, details how the world is poised on the brink of massive changes in how water is used and valued. It questions whether water is part of a shared “commons,” a human right for all people?  The  Waterwise, how not to drain a country  documentary touches on the worlds different water situations and teaches us valuable lessons of sustainability.  SOSNPO, a South African water NPO joins the line-up of prestigious directors for the ground-breaking documentary – a FIRST for a South African NPO. SOSNPO Executive Director Shelley Humphreys says: “Each and every individual has a role to play in achieving a water-secure future, and this documentary is going to go a long way in educating people around the world on the scale of the crisis.” Humphreys says that the Cape Town water crisis was instrumental in the coming together of the documentary  - as is evident in the new trailer, which heavily features Cape Town.  To view the trailer visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acQuNOUHTLoMore information www.waterwisethemovie.org ;
