Salinity is a crucial concern that has a direct effect on the drinking water issue for the coastal area people. The study says salinity has increased up to 26% in the last three decades in the southwest coastal area of Bangladesh. Nobo Jatra (USAID funded project, Implemented by World Vision) is dealing with this issue by establishing improved water technologies and advocating for Public and Private sectors to scale up. A meeting with DPHE, LGD, DoEFC, and MoDMR has been taken place yesterday at MoDMR's conference hall to discuss and take action points on how the Private and Public sectors can partner together to reach for wider safe water coverage where I was privileged to be presented as the focal presenter.
