Viwossin Dégboé, Monitoring, evaluation and learning manager expert - specialized in WASH

About

Statistician, computer scientist and with an MBA in finance, I have fourteen (14) years of general professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning and research.

For more than eight (8) years, I managed planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH) projects financed by donors such as USAID and the Global Sanitation Fund hosted by UNOPS/WSSCC. Working for international organizations such as Tetra tech ARD and MCD Global Health, I have held technical and managerial positions that have enabled me to master the indicators and other monitoring-evaluation and learning tools promoted by USAID and other donors in the WASH field.

I also have a very good understanding of market-based sanitation approaches, behavioral and social change sanitation approaches, WASH financing, governance and capacity building and WASH systems in urban and rural areas in Benin and Côte d'Ivoire.

Through my experiences, I have acquired the ability to use strategic information to generate knowledge that can be used to learn from implementation, adapt it and guide decisions to ensure the success of interventions. In addition to an excellent command of data management tools and information systems, I have a very good grasp of development and humanitarian project cycle management.
