PhD on Experimental Sciences and Sustainability (Geography), with International mention (2014) and Extraordinary Environment Award (2015), by the University of Girona (UdG). MsC (Hons) on Environment (2009) and Bsc (Hons) in Geography (2008) by the same university. Predoctoral researcher at the UdG (Environmental and Geographic Information Technologies, 2013). Visiting researcher at the Laboratory SET (UPPA, France), and to the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (UNIMI, Italy). Member of the EUWATHER european project (UNIVE, UdG, 2015-2017). From January 2017, Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher at the Water and Territory research group (UA), and from February 2017, and collaborator of the PLUVIRESMED project (UAB, UA, CICYT 2016-2019).
I published some chapter books about ecosystem services and irrigation multifunctionality (Nova Science Publishers) and some papers in indexed journals like Journal of Rural Studies, Professional Geographer, Natural Resources Forum, Utilities Policy, Water, International Journal of Water Resources Development, Land Use Policy, or Environmental Policy and Governance, among others. I am associate editor of International Journal of Geography and Environmental Management and reviewer of some international and national indexed journals: Agriculture Ecosystems and Environment, Land Use Policy, Sustainability or Environmental Processes.
I have participated in the proposition of European projects submitted to H2020 and ERANET joint calls from 2013. I am expert evaluator and rapporteur of H2020 calls (EASME) and ERANET WaterWorks 2015-2020 joint call. I collaborate with the iAgua project as blogger and I have been involved in more than 45 MOOCs from EU and US universities.
