Jalal Naser Faqiryar graduated form Civil Engineering Department of Herat University in 2008 and soon after started job in Western Basins Water Resources Managing Project in Western part of Afghanistan. After successfully completion of the mentioned project, he joined performed valuable tasks in construction projects such as Designer of hydraulic structures, computation of hydrological parameters, quality control of water infrastructure projects and etc. 

Mr. Faqiryar has performed his higher studies in field of Water Engineering and Management at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and graduated during 2017 and soon after returned to Afghanistan.

He has accomplished important tasks in development projects of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, such as vertical and horizontal structures, designer of many public utility projects, review of irrigation and natural resources projects work plan, advisor to deputy minister for irrigation and natural resources, evaluation and following up fundamental projects, being ensured of all relevant projects activities are according to schedule and plan with honestly and proficiency. 

Recently, Mr. Jalal Naser Faqiryar according to decree of president of Afghanistan, he is assigned as Director General of Kabul River Basin and he is serving his country and people in water sector.
