I was born in 1949 and obtained the degree of Civil Engineer and master in Hydraulic at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1974.
I had developed my entire professional career at Euroestudios (now TPF Getinsa Euroestudios), where I have worked for more than 40 years and I am partner since 1989. I have worked several years as geotechnical engineer. Since 1981 worked as Head of Hydraulic Department; I have participated in the design and construction of more than 20 large dams of several typologies, irrigation canals, large diameter drink water pipes, tunnels, waste water and desalination plant, etc.. After, since 2006 I belongs to Civil Engineering Director and was in charge the Departments of Water, Transport Infrastructure, Soil and Rock Science and Works Supervision, both in Spain and abroad.
I have been General Secretary of the Spanish Association of Dam and Reservoirs and I am professor of International Master of Operation and Dam Safety.
