Sylvia Petschnig, Head of Marketing and Business Development at MTA Messtechnik GmbH

About

My job expertise is based on many years in marketing and business development for both, local and international, highly specialized companies.

SECTORS
In the water business since 2005 and earlier many years in the software industry, I still highly appreciate
being part of a sector where business tends to have positive effects on the population.

PROJECTS
In 2014 MTA Messtechnik launched "MTA Pipe-Inspector®",
products and service for untethered multi-sensor pipeline inspection.
My responsibility for marketing the MTA Pipe-Inspector®
on an international level includes the care of sales partners and customers.
Apart from providing classical marketing services this means
guiding our partners through projects from the definition process
up to the final implementation.

SKILLS
Having worked as an employee as well as an entrepreneur
I‘m well aware what it means to be responsible for a company image
even more in combination with low budgets.

An understanding for technical products together with
many years of experience in the software industry
are higly valuable in my daily work on international technical projects.

PASSIONS
When it comes to passion it‘s about
transporting a marketing concept directly to the people
and experiencing their immediate feedback,
be it on trade shows, customer events, presentations or trainings.

How to establish and lead a working organisation,
demanded at a specific date which is flexible enough
to respond to often unforeseen requirements and challenges,
this is what appeals to me especially in event management.

To cooperate with specialists from all over the world
contributing to the improvement of water supply and sewage disposal,
is an extremely enriching work life experience.
