Does anybody know how the water part of "ensuring environmental sustainability", as is mentioned in the article, is covered?

So very good to know. This can be term as Legally Enforced CSR.

Have not read this new rule but if "ensuring environmental sustainability" is a narrative goal, numerous problems will result. Why? Because the term can mean anything and without clear criteria for measuring achievement of goals, there is no good way to make it operational. I would suggest that in the absence of measurement endpoints the term will become as meaningless as "ecosystem management" has become for agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service.
