Interesting that INNOQUA are doing more research on vermifiltration (using worms to treat wastewater). A EU funded project (which had INNOQUA as a partner) proved the technology in Combaillaux way back in 2005/6. The plant treats the village population ~1800 and it has been so sucessful it is still running today. Other noted research on worms incude their ability to tackle PCBs, PAHs & ECDs. I look forward to seeing the Daphina crypto-bacteria reactor results.
