The New York Times has picked up on Brazil's wastewater treatment obstacles: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/19/world/americas/memo-to-olympic-sailors-in-rio-dont-touch-the-water.html?hp&_r=1

Hello Nicholas, how are you? Very interesting iniciative of your company. Indeed, Brazil have a huge gap in infrastructure, seeing that only 48,3% of the sewage produced is captured and piped and only 38,7% of the total amount produced recieves any kind of treatment (source: www.tratabrasil.org.br/situacao-do-saneamento-no-brasil - In portuguese). I really think that the private iniciative can reduce this gap, but only together with public polices to rule the process. But most of us knows that the corruption in the government may be a problem here. So, I hope that you can find a way how to implement those actions for real. It will be very good. If you need any information about Brazilian Water and Wastewater technical market, just let me know about. Regards! Léo.
