For several years, we have been working on a 60-km regional watershed in southwest Iran, and we have had good studies and research. It is a mountainous region that leads to rugged plains. In this basin, there are about 15 springs that lead to two rivers, the water of 3 springs is very salty (EC ≥ 180,000 µ mho/cm) and the rest of the springs are sweet (EC = 2,000 µ mho/cm) or sulfated (EC = 10,000 µ mho/cm) and have very suitable and controllable electrical conductivity. Our goal is to contain and control these very salty springs (we can use the 11 suggested methods) and extract water from this watershed, considering the relatively good floods we have. In this work, we managed to get the necessary permits from the government companies that were in charge of the water. Soon, the design studies will be started by consulting companies and then the implementation of the project that we want will be done.
