NEWS NOTES ON SUSTAINABLE WATER RESOURCES  USGS Priority Ecosystems  https://access.usgs.gov/about.html ; The mission of Priority Ecosystem Science (PES) is to provide science in support of adaptive management of ecosystems that have near-term societal concern and significant long-term societal value. Studies are designed to serve local ecosystem management needs and to provide knowledge and approaches transferable to similar ecosystems across the Nation. PES efforts focus in areas where new integrated science approaches can be developed to address the needs of a diverse group of decision-makers and to meet Department of the Interior's responsibilities to manage the Nation's lands.  Activities require collaboration and integration of expertise from the four USGS disciplines, Biology, Geology, Geography, and Water to achieve a system-scale understanding of the natural and anthropogenic factors affecting ecosystems and to better understand the interactive nature of resources and the environment. On a larger scale, PES efforts contribute to a broader capability needed to understand and assess the health of the Nation's ecosystems.   Current PES study units include the Greater Everglades, San Francisco Bay, Chesapeake Bay, the Mojave Desert, and the Platte River.  This program will also be linked on the 2018 Actions and Activities Page of the Sustainable Water Resources Site at https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ">https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ; Tim SmithGovernment Web Site, https://acwi.gov/Sustainable Water Resources Site, https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ">https://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources/ ;

  1. Research is designed to meet local needs for ecosystem management and to provide knowledge and approaches that are transferred to similar ecosystems of the nation. "

    Satisfaction of local needs is a short-term measure that will be destroyed a little later. The climate is changing all over the planet. And the reason for the change in evaporation.

    The hypothesis of the Paris Agreement on the emission of carbon dioxide leads to disaster because it distracts the world from the real threat of all life on the planet. The main root of climate change is the change in evaporation. Vapors - the main link in the chain of water cycle between the atmosphere and soil. In the pre-industrial era, organic evaporation from biota prevailed. Now, with the acceleration, artificial evaporation of water, devoid of its natural functions, is fueled by feeding flora and fauna.

    Adaptation to climate change means humility of mankind with natural disasters and an approaching catastrophe. The person will adapt to the conditions today, and tomorrow the conditions will worsen even further and a moment will come when no trillions will suffice for survival. First, the poorest layers, and then the whole of humanity.

    The hectare of the earth contains 20 tons of underground living creatures, which, together with plants and terrestrial biota, processes water, returning to the atmosphere its "record" in the form of a special structure of exhaled steam, evaporation of precipitates in a moderate enough dose. The mechanism of the water cycle developed by nature consisted of several main interdependent and unconditional processes:
    • concentration and movement in the clouds
    • Condensation and precipitation in specified locations
    • Soil saturation
    • Dissolution of mineral microelements, salts, decomposing biomaterials
    • movement and transformation of water in food chains
    • Evaporation and movement towards the clouds.

    Each molecule of this pair has its own, especially individual, structure. The molecules of water from the organic vapors of living creatures and plants must be very different from water molecules evaporated from asphalt or from a drying cup, a cooling tower. It is assumed that a biologically structured substance, collected in the atmosphere from vapors of organic vapors of billions of living creatures and plants, created a clear distribution and schedules of precipitation. Such an idyll was created and perfected for billions of years.

    Technogenic impact is not only burning of fuel, but more reduction of organic and intensive increase of artificial fumes. In fact, we change the water cycle. It was only in nature. There was an artificial evaporation of the shortened cycle. It is urgent to return biota to nature on a global scale.
