The boilers that create this steam are venting into the atmosphere a lot of water that can be recovered with the technology of "condensing flue gas heat recovery" and this water can then be injected back into the ground for future use. The recovered heat energy from the combusted exhaust can be used for process requirements or plant wash down. Doing so will reduce a lot of CO2 emissions.
