Sourcewater, the online water exchange for the energy ecosystem, was presented with the award for New Technology Development of the Year at the The 4th annual Northeast Oil & Gas Awards. The awards ceremony honored the brightest work being done in the Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Industry at their red carpet gala in Pittsburgh, Pennslvania on March 30,, 2016. The New Technology Development category highlights advances in technology that lead to cost savings, streamlining operations, reducing environmental impact and improving health and safety standards. The winner is acknowledged for significant contributions that make the market more efficient.

The featured Guest of Honor was Senator Scott Wagner, joining other esteemed guests such as PIOGA president and executive director Louis D’Amico, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Texas RRC Commissioners Ryan Sitton and Christi Craddick, and Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Lois Mitchell.
