This is very interesting. Is there a central organisation behind this? It sounds like a project that might interest WAFA (Water Air Food Awards) at www.wafaward.org. Please send me any website or other info Best, Christel

Hi Christel Halse at the moment we are doing research about which organisations are behind this. What we have found so far is that there are 2 types of organisations: The private industry and some consultants being hired by communities or governments to give them training. The governments at least in Latin America they are giving some economic support to build anaerobic digesters in local farm. However there is no plan or project for rural communities which lack of basic services. We need still to work on this to come out with a project that can be of the interest of any government or central organisation. If you need any concrete information, just give me a touch and we can discuss about it. My colleague Christian (The main author) and I are open to do collaborations if you want.
Cheers,
Chris
