AECOM partners with IBM on Smarter Water

AECOM announced today that it has partnered with IBM on a "Smarter Water" solution to help drive improved water management.
AECOM and IBM are working together to enable water management agencies meet highly complex water challenges using smart, advanced technology solutions combining AECOM's expertise in the water and wastewater industry and IBM's leadership in information technology.

Using IBM Intelligent Water software along with AECOM's water-management knowledge, the Smarter Water solution aggregates different data into one "system of systems," giving users comprehensive and consistent real-time views across an entire operation. Equipped with advanced data analytics, visualization and optimization tools, the solution helps water and wastewater management companies detect anomalies such as leaks, and uncover insights to support proactive asset and system management.
AECOM and IBM announced the Smarter Water offering at the recent American Water Works Association Annual Conference in Boston.
