Tidal power is a form of hydropower that converts the energy from the natural rise and fall of the tides into electricity and it is a very predictable and reliable energy source.
Tidal plants are installed along coastlines and require a minimum of 5 meters in difference between the highest and lowest tide levels on a daily level.
