China Invited Analytica Bio-Energy to Design and Build Municipal Wastewater Treatment Facilities for Population Centres throughout the Country
Analytica Bio-Energy, Inc. (OTCQB:ABEC) and ("Analytica" or the "Company"), the fully owned Taiwan subsidiary of Analytica Bio-Energy Corp. USA, is proud to announce that it has been invited to participate in the government mandated and comprehensive wastewater management program for the entire country of China. Analytica will assume the lead role in the program to design and construct municipal wastewater treatment plants for population centers throughout China, as the government continues to develop new infrastructure required by updated environmental regulations adopted in January.
"This is a big opportunity for Analytica to take the lead position to develop wastewater treatment facilities for China and is an acknowledgement by the government of Analytica's leadership role in the industry and of its patented, cutting edge technology which was developed jointly by the universities of Illinois and Taiwan under the leadership of our CEO, Kevin Wu," stated Luiz Brasil, President and Director of Analytica.
The project will address the wastewater problems in China and initially focus on Shenyang City, the largest city of Liaoning Province, as well as the largest city in Northeast China by urban population. According to the 2010 census, the city's urban area had 6,255,921 inhabitants, while the total population of the Shenyang municipality is over 8 million. Analytica will design, build and operate a pilot-scale municipal wastewater treatment facility with capacity to process 600,000 tons per day of wastewater under a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) structure with the Chinese government.
Over the next sixty (60) to ninety (90) days Analytica will work in close cooperation with the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau to determine the scope, plus all technical aspects related to the project. The project will comply with the new anti-corruption legislation now in effect throughout China. Once the pilot plant is completed, the government plans to aggressively promote this technology to the national level which will cover all of China. Analytica will then design additional treatment facilities at larger scale for other cities across the country.
