Aquarion Group Expands to Middle East

Aquarion Group (Aquarion AG), a leading provider of advanced water systems, solutions and technologies, has established Aquarion Middle East, a wholly owned subsidiary located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

The founding of Aquarion Middle East signifies Aquarion Group's commitment to this important market. Aquarion Middle East will focus on providing advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions to industrial customers in the UAE and other countries in the Middle East and North Africa, with particular emphasis on the Oil & Gas market, focusing on Upstream and Downstream technologies to include Zero Liquid Discharge, Spent Caustic and Produced Water Treatment.

As an EPC solution provider, we also offer a comprehensive array of services for customers in the UAE and other countries in the Middle East," said Karl Michael Millauer, Chief Executive Officer of Aquarion Group.

David A. Howsley, who joins Aquarion as the CEO for the Middle East and North Africa region and heads up the companies' business development strategy in the Middle East, will also manage the Sharjah operation. Mr. Howsley brings more than 30 years international experience in water treatment to Aquarion, including 20 years working in the global Oil & Gas industry.

Prior to joining Aquarion, he was Chief Operating Officer at TIG Group GmbH and also worked with other leading Oil & Gas and EPC companies including Shell, BP, ADNOC, FW and AMEC. His also brings extensive experience working with many of the world's leading EPC contractors and consultants.
