Drinking water arsenic contamination is serious threat not only to the people of India, but this slow poisoning process is common phenomenon in South Asia, particularly, in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma etc. Unfortunately, this lethal problem do not figure out in the manifesto of political parties due to devoid of understanding the gravity of the problem. This problem has to be tackled by adopting resource integration approaches, not by individual state, province or district government. As an immediate measure, house hold levels and community based arsenic filters are required to be installed to reduce adverse impacts of drinking water arsenic contamination on human health.
