Company Announes Further Roll Out of Telemetry Networks for Water Supply Monitoring in Bangladesh
For Datawatt the Water Operators Partnership (WOP) project in Dhaka, Bangladesh will be continued.
The project provides an integrated approach for improving the water supply, sanitation and hygiene promotion (WASH) in the low income areas in the city of Dhaka, were approximately 3.5 million people still live below the poverty line.
Following the partnership cooperation with VEI, Datawatt is now represented by the local Dhaka company Optimal Track for the further rollout of the webscada Stream system and for adding additional locations for monitoring District Metered Areas (DMAs).The first locations have already been delivered.
In September a new trade mission to Dhaka will be organized by the Dutch Embassy in Dhaka in cooperation with Nyenrode Business University. Director Roy Gerding will again be present. "Bangladesh is a very interesting country to explore," says Roy "the partnerships are certainly an added value for the realization of the projects."
