International Business Machines Corp. (IBM)'s Digital Aquifer Will Analyze 100 Million Water Points In Africa
IBMhas taken Cloud and its rudimentary branches to the next level. The company has around 431,000working employees out of which, a major portion is now working on Cloud and Big Data. Watson, an International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM)'s supercomputing and trademark component for Cloud and HPC is now being used as a service, according to CEO. IBM thinks that Cloud is the best way to integrate solutions with Big Data infrastructure. Instead of designing off-course solutions for each client, the company can invest heavily on Cloud and then harness the sharing facilities later on.
Using and refining data is a new venture International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) is taking on. The company is working on a drought management program in which, experts will search and analyze 100 million points of waterto analyze them for feasibility of water health and project security. Labelled as "Digital Aquifer," this project will help African countries to solve their food and water problems.
