Doosan Wins $1.78bn Contracts in Oman

The company signed a $90bn deal to design phase two of the Al Ansab Sewage Treatment Plant, awarded by Oman's state-owned wastewater services company, Haya Water.
Doosan Enpure, the company's subsidiary in the UK, won a $76.75m contract from the States of Jersey of the UK to build phase three of the Bellozanne Sewage Treatment Works (STW) Facilities. Doosan was awarded the contract on 29 June, 2015.
The Al Ansab project is to construct a sewage treatment plant with a daily capacity of 50,000 tonnes. The plant will use Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Technology, and upon completion, Al Ansab sewage treatment plant will be the largest of its kind worldwide using MBR.
For the project, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction will supply equipment and material, construct and conduct a trial run. Completion is due for 2017.
In the UK, for phase three of Bellozanne Sewage Treatment, Doosan Enpure will build the plant to treat 71,000 tonnes of sewage per day, and complete it in 2020.
