Dow Joins Water Infrastructure Coalition

Dow Chemical has joined a coalition of public and private sector companies that aim to revitalize the nation's aging and underfundedwater infrastructure, called the Value of Water Coalition

The coalition's other members include: Alexandria Renew Enterprises, American Water Works Assn., American Water, Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, Black & Veatch, Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority, CH2M Hill, DC Water, Hampton Roads Sanitation District, Kansas City Water Services, Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, MWH Global, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, National Association of Water Companies, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Philadelphia Water Department San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, US Water Alliance, United Water, Veolia, Water Environment Federation and Xylem.

Aging infrastructure and capital needsare the most significant challenges facing thewaterindustry, according toWeiserMazars'2014 US Water Industry Outlook.
