Of course students don't. Today's students are smarter than that. This looks like a typical study that wanted a particular result and chose to interview the class of people who would give them that result. If they really wanted to find out about discarded pharmaceuticals, they should have interviewed seniors and maybe older low income groups. Those are people who use pharmaceuticals regularly and didn't know the dangers of flushing them when they were growing into adulthood.
