The Government of the Netherlands Signed a Grant Agreement with the Government of Georgia on a Project to Rehabilitate the Zemo Samgori Irrigation System
The Government of the Netherlands signed a grant agreement with the Government of Georgia on the development of the project "Rehabilitation of Zemo Samgori Irrigation System".
The project aims to rehabilitate, operate, and adequately maintain the Zemo Samgori Irrigation System.
Overall project budget of 55 million Euro with a total grant of 15 million Euro financed through the Facility for Infrastructure Development - ORIO The Grant Agreement for the Development Phase has been signed by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Georgia, Mr. H.P.P.M. Horbach, on behalf of the Government of the Netherlands and by the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Nodar Khaduri, on behalf of the Georgian Government.
The Ministry of Agriculture and the United Amelioration System Company of Georgia (UASCG) will be the beneficiaries and implementers of the project.
