Fog net project in Morocco
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
During the dry season from June to September, the village women in Morocco's mountain regions travel more than three hours every day to fetch water for their families from the nearest well. Starting in early July 2011, fog nets are being installed in these areas with support from the Munich Re Foundation to improve the water supply. The aim is to obtain drinking water from fog for three villages and a school located in remote mountainous regions of northwestern Africa. Each net can collect an average of 400 litres of water per day. Read more http://j.mp/rWJNC4
