A 4.8 earthquake on the Richter Scale is negligible. Whether or not it is related to fracking, so what.? It is very small. And the frequency of earthquakes is far more than one per day. I live in Albuquerque and I have watched the seismic recording drum for many years and we get hundreds of quakes a day and no one is fracking around here. Yet fracking does cause small seismic events. This was first shown to be the case with water injection into the Ridgely oil field west of Denver. Google it.
