Funds Approved for Water Treatment Chemical in Nigeria

Kebbi State governor Atiku Bagudu has given approval for the supply of over N46 million water treatment chemical in the state
This would enable the provision of good drinking water across the state.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu'azu Dakingari, also indicated that, work has commenced in earnest for the rehabilitation of Unity Girls College, Birnin kebbi established in 1950.
"The school now wearing a new look, has been provided with all the necessary teaching facilities, new dormitories, toilets, water and electricity supply with state of the art equipment," he said.
Speaking on the development, the Acting Head of service and permanent secretary ministry of education, Abubakar Udu idris said a committee headed by the Wazirin Gwandu Abdullahi Umar executed part of the job, while the ministry undertook direct labour.
The principal of the school Hajiya Tuni Aliyu said the school which admitted students from the 19 Northern states had a population of more than three thousand students.
