Introducing a novel and sustainable water technology in South Asia
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
Aquaver has developed commercial water treatment systems based on membrane distillation, a novel technology that can purify almost any water type. The technology can be powered by low-temperature heat from renewable sources, such as solar, or waste-heat sources, such as diesel generators, what enables a 50-75% smaller carbon footprint compared to other desalination methods. The systems can be operated off-grid and form the ideal solution in remote locations where sustainable, high and constant quality water is required. The products have output volumes ranging from 1500 l/day to 100.000 l/day. Aquaver is based in the Netherlands and it is part of the Ecover Group, a global organisation with a strong sustainability track record.
Pan Asian Holdings has over 30 years' experience in the water business. The company is headquartered and exchange-listed in Singapore, and is today home to about 250 employees in more than 10 offices and subsidiaries across the Asian region. Led and supported by a highly motivated and proactive management team across all its operations in Asia, the company continues to strive to become an excellent and trusted partner to its valued customers and product principals.
Aquaver and Pan Asian Holdings Limited have announced the signing of a distribution agreement for South East Asia. Under this agreement Pan Asian Holding Limited will bring this novel technology to the market, creating value to its customers by offering sustainable solutions that produce clean and safe drinking water.
