Israel's Water-Gen Entering Asian Market

Israel's water purification firm Water-Gen is in talks with domestic companies for making a foray into the Indian market this year
The company plans to launch its products in India this year and aims "a billion US dollar" revenue from Indian operations in five-six years.
"We have been approached by many companies in India to partner with for launching products with Water-Gen technology. We will launch our products this year. We believe Indian market has a huge potential and we are looking a revenue of a billion USD in 5-6 years," Water-Gen Founder President and Co-CEO Arye Kohavi told PTI.
The company plans to set up a manufacturing and research and development (R&D) centre in India.
"Once we have finalised on our partner in India we will set up manufacturing facility and R&D centre in the country. We will also use India as an export hub and export our products to countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and African countries," he said.
Water-Gen specialises in generation of drinking water from air and also offers water purification solutions.
