Kruger Awarded Hydrotec Discfilter Contract

Veolia Environment’s Kruger Inc is to provide a Hydrotech Discfilter system for the Port Orange Reclaimed Water Reservoir and Filtration Project in Port Orange, Florida, USA
Kruger will supply a Hydrotech Discfilter unit with a controls system, mobile automated cleaning system (ACS) and two slow speed mechanical mixers.
The system is designed to treat stormwater to reuse standards by filtering a peak flow of 2.0 MGD and provide effluent with TSS ≤ 5mg/L.
The Port Orange Reclaimed Water Reservoir and Filtration Project is upgrading its treatment capabilities, especially the ability to treat stormwater to reuse standards.
The Hydrotech Discfilter is expected to be operational during spring 2016.
