Liquidity Nanotech Wins TechCrunch Award

Liquidity Nanotech wins TechCrunch Disrupt startup battlefield

Based in Alameda, Calif., Liquidity Nanotech had already raised $10.3 million from Capricorn Venture Partners and others, to use nano-technology filters to purify water.

The runner up was London and New York City-based DigitalGenius, an enterprise solution to let a natural language processor artificial intelligence engine answer customer questions.

Of the hundreds of startups who exhibited on the floor of TechCrunch Disrupt NY, 24 were selected through a voting process with attendees, to present on stage.

From those, yesterday, the Battlefield contestants were narrowed to seven finalists: Biobots, BitFusion.io, Cloudwear, DigitalGenius, Liquidity, Nucleus Scientific, and PageCloud.
