I can not believe such nonsense would ever be seriously considered. The only true part of this article is this will help the global ambitions of the Chinese to inject their form of communism society. Some things should not be for sale. Human enslavement, mass murder, and the marketing of it as a benefit to those it will destroy. Have always wondered how do you tell water it is a policy to be controlled. Not the most important part of all lives to be used and not abused. I still have hopes at least one person will get on these committees that has actual education and experience of how the earth is a living breathing entity.  The time and money spent on telling people how bad things are is not required. Teaching them the basic laws of nature and how to use them for their long term survival and become sustainable is needed.

Whilst I do concur that the article fails to address the risks of countries incurring indebtedness in order to fund their infrastructure needs - the fact of the matter is that often they do not feel they have viable alternatives to Chinese funding. I have lived and worked in Africa for over 20 years and as a person who was born privileged (i.e. access to clean drinking water, infrastructure that enabled my mobility, a real education etc.) it's easy for me to now embrace the idea of a well-being economy. I do not believe that we need to teach people in developing countries "the basic laws of nature". They want "development". I think rather we must start with Wall Street, the IMF, the World Bank and the leaders of countries that are actually responsible for massive destruction and the creation of systems that will surely kill us all (and our planet) unless transformed.
